Dale R. Heater, Sr.

Dale R. Heater, Sr., 77, of Bath died Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Howard and Helen Heater.  A 1963 graduate of Liberty High School, Dale served his country in the United States Navy, retiring with the rank of Chief in 1985.  Dale currently was director of pool maintenance at Willow Park Swimming Pools, Bethlehem since 1985.  Dale was a faithful Philadelphia Eagles Fan who was looking forward to their playoff game last Sunday.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandson at the Iron Pigs and Phantom games. Dale had resided in Hawaii for 17 years and loved to go back for visits.  

Survivors: Daughter, Brenda J. LaBarre; brothers, Howard Heater and his wife Rita, David Heater and his wife Michele all of Bethlehem; sister, Debbie Heater of Bath; former wife and dear friend, Nellie wife of George Nemchik of Bethlehem; grandson, Logan LaBarre; nieces; nephews.  He was predeceased by his son, Dale R. Heater, Jr.; twin sister, Donna Jacoby and sisters, Barbara Kotlik and Thelma Bowers.

Service: A service with full military honors will be held privately at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.  Arrangements are being handled by the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.  Please record a memory at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
