Corey D. McDowell

Corey Donielle McDowell, 36, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was born on June 26, 1983 in Waynesville, NC to Jeannette McDowell and Christopher Mabry. Corey had various jobs throughout his life working in the restaurant business, for a moving company and as a landscaper. He had a love for music and was always dancing. 

SURVIVORS: Corey will be greatly missed by his sons, Corey D. McDowell, Jr. and Serani McDowell; daughter, Serenity Cintron; mother, Jeannette McDowell; father, Christopher Mabry; dad, Woodard Thomas; siblings, Brandon McDowell, Ericka McDowell, Terrence McDowell, Sherrell McDowell, Christina Mabry, Christopher Mabry, Jr., Aleya Mabry, Ajia Morgan, Cherokee Morgan, Joseph Ruthford and Melanie Rutherford; Tiffany and Dion Banks, Denisha and Bayla Burnett and Jamar and NAaliyah Palmer; grandparents, Armelda and John Baker; Many Nieces, Nephews, family and Friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Mills and paternal grandmother, Marilyn Mabry.

SERVICES: A funeral service will take place at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, June 19, 2020 in Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem where the family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Nisky Hill Cemetery, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
