Clyde Fogel Obituary

Clyde C. Fogel, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on January 3, 1934, in Freemansburg, he was the son of the late John and Edith (Marstellar) Fogel.

Clyde's life was one of service and hard work. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, a period that shaped much of his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and resilience. After his military service, Clyde built a career as a skilled welder, dedicating 24 years of his life to Tyler Pipe in Macungie before his well-deserved retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and stock car racing.

At the heart of Clyde's life was his beloved family. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Fogel of Bethlehem, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring partnership. Together, they raised a family that included their daughter, Kimberly Wotring and her husband Michael of Whitehall, and their sons, Glenn Allen Fogel and his companion Gloria (Jeannie) of New Jersey, and Clyde C. Fogel, Jr. and his companion Margaret of Whitehall. Clyde was preceded in death by his son, Frank Fogel and sister Inez Kleibscheidel
