Born on November 22, 1971, in Bethlehem, PA, Chris was a beacon of kindness and selflessness to all who knew him. His warm smile and generous spirit will be profoundly missed.
Chris was the beloved husband of Judith "Judy" (Strunk) Becker and a devoted father to his daughter, Dedrea Gianarkis, and her husband, Dane. He is survived by his brother, John "Jay" Becker Jr., his sister, Amy Carr, and his cherished pets, Olive the dog and Oakley the cat. Chris was predeceased by his parents, John and Judith (Morris) Becker.
A graduate of Kutztown University, Chris earned his master’s degree in education. His passion for education led him to a fulfilling career as a teacher at Pleasant Valley Elementary School in Kresgeville, PA. He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bethlehem. Chris loved camping especially at Promise Land State Park, a place of many cherished memories for him and his family. An avid sports fan, Chris could often be found cheering on his favorite hockey and baseball teams. He enjoyed swimming and the meticulous craft of building models.
Above all, Chris was a family man. He always made time for his loved ones, understanding that the bonds of family and friendship were the most important aspects of life. His presence was a source of stability and comfort, and his ability to listen and offer support was unrivaled.
