Carson J. Wittman, 78, a lifelong resident of Salisbury Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 9, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the High School sweetheart and loving husband of Joan (Fisher) Wittman with whom he shared over 55 years of loving marriage. Born at home, he was the son of the late Theodore and Elsie (Sulzer) Wittman. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army for 22 months, during the Vietnam War. He worked as an auto mechanic for various companies in the Lehigh Valley for many years until retiring. Carson was an accomplished baseball player and had a love for the game. He helped coach and was active with his sons at Fountain Hill Little League, Salisbury High School and their Connie Mack teams. He enjoyed watching horse racing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Joan, he will be remembered by his sons Greg M. Wittman and his wife Stacey of Glenn Mills, Todd M. Wittman and Brad M. Wittman; brother Barry J. Wittman all of Salisbury Twp. and his loving grandchildren Evan, Ryan, Shane, CJ and Quinn. He was preceded in death by his sister Janet.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill, PA 18015. Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. and also on Monday morning from 10 A.M.until the time of the service. His burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
