Carmen B. Rivas

Carmen B. Rivas, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 2, 2021 while in the care of Manor Care Bethlehem. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Diaz and Delores Rodriguez. Carmen was a faithful member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and the Cofradia group. She enjoyed going to the Casino and spending time with her loving family.

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her children Carmen Urban and husband Gregory of Fountain Hill, Sergio Rivas and wife Elizabeth of Bethlehem Township, Teresa Svites of Bethlehem, Mariel Molitorisz and husband Jeffrey of Bradenton, FL and Griselle Hahn of Nazareth; sister Catalina Cruz of Tampa, FL; 10 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Carmen was preceded in death by her siblings Isabel Colon, Hipolita Figueroa, Felicita Morales, Anastasia Diaz, Martin Diaz, Felix Diaz and Carlos Diaz.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the Mass. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. Carmen’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
