Carmen Elkouby, 83, of Macungie and formerly of Jersey City, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Candido Davila. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Victor Manuel Mangual and Eladia Bigio. She enjoyed crocheting, singing, dancing and going on cruises. Above all, Carmen loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Myrna Rivera and her husband David of Bethlehem and Carmencita Ferry and her husband Jeffrey of Macungie; daughter in law Penny Davila; siblings Minerva, Carmen M., Rosa, Wilfredo, Jesus and Manual ; grandchildren Sarah Shelton and her husband Elrige and Nicholas Gray and great grandchildren Bryson Shelton and Amelia Shelton. She was preceded in death by her son Richard Davila, sister Mirtalina Alsina and grandson Obadiah Lopez.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
