Carl S. Moyer

Carl S. Moyer, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away on September 15, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Long) Moyer with whom he shared over 30 years of loving marriage. Born on March 19, 1945 in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Ida G. (Schaffer) Moyer.

Carl worked as a Rigger for Bethlehem Steel for over 32 years until he retired. He honorably served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. Carl was a member of the Bath American Legion. Being extremely patriotic and a history buff he loved to travel to different historical sites.  Carl was an avid hunter and fisherman. 

Survivors: Carl will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon; son, Tod Moyer (Heather) of Whitehall; daughters, Carlene Carmody (Joe deceased) of Whitehall, and Marci Emery (Shawn) of Ransomville, NY; grandchildren, Seth Moyer (Deb), Cody Moyer (Marisa), Reece Moyer, Brok Moyer, Lauren Moyer (Brian), Blayre Rollins (Sabrina), Mikael Klotz, Kristofer Reichard (Gillian), Joshua Emery; great grandchildren, Kai, Avery, Spencer, Laela, Khloe, Evan, and Destiny; sister, Nancy Menissian (Steve); brother Edward J. Moyer Jr. (Maureen deceased); nieces, Kristine Foley, and Denise Pandolfo; several cousins.  

Services A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem, PA where the family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A viewing will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
