Brian R. Kaplan

The Lord took Brian home on August 30, 2023 when he peacefully passed away in his home. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Robert Kaplan, Sr. and the late Marie (Kesack) Kaplan. He was a graduate of Freedom High School class of 1985. Brian was a chef and served many local establishments throughout his career. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and ability to light up a room with his smile. Brian loved the Lord and had a heart of gold. He made a difference in the world by helping others and served as a role model for countless individuals in recovery. Brian was a wonderful dad, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors: He will be remembered by his daughters, Mackenzie Kaplan of Bradford and Madison Kaplan of Nazareth; brother, Robert Kaplan, Jr. and his wife Denise of Allentown; sisters, Judy Chase and her husband David of Northampton, Sharon Ramos of Bethlehem, Robin Roddick and her husband Iain of Center Valley.

Service: Calling hours 5:00PM to 7:00PM Wednesday, September 6, 2023 and 11:00AM to 12:00PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home followed by Interment at Holy SaviourCemetery, Bethlehem.
