Betty J. (Ruth) Cope

Betty J. (Ruth) Cope, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, at the age of 95, while in the care of Northampton Post-Acute. Born on January 27, 1929, she was the beloved daughter of the late George and Helen (Dany) Ruth.

She was a loving sister to her 13 siblings, all of whom predeceased her. Betty's heart found its match in her late husband, Edwin Cope, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering companionship.

Her spirit lives on through her devoted daughter, Sandra Raines, and her son-in-law, Kenneth. Betty's legacy was further enriched by her grandson, Derek Raines, and his wife, Leanne, as well as her great-grandchildren, Miles and Landon Raines.

For the majority of her professional life, Betty was a dedicated employee at B Braun Medical, where she contributed her skills and work ethic until her well-deserved retirement.

Betty's faith was an integral part of her life, reflected in her long-standing involvement with Holy Trinity Church. Her spiritual devotion was matched by her love for baking, a talent that brought people together over her famous rice pudding, renowned for being the best. Her culinary delights were not just treats for the taste buds but also expressions of her loving nature.
