Armando Romero Obituary

 

Armando Romero, 84, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. Armando as of 2013 came to live with his daughter Cristina in Allentown, Pennsylvania where her and her family cared for him until the very end. He was the widower of Felicita Llanos with whom he shared over 24 years with. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Eugene Romero and Maria “Mary” Colon. 

 

Armando was a truck driver in his earlier days. Later in life he put his family first doing anything for them. He was a member of Kingdom Life Family Church, Orefield. Armando was an avid nature lover enjoying camping, fishing, boating, parks, and beaches. He liked going to eat at McDonalds and Wendy’s. He was a painter and collector of eagle figures. Above all he devoted his life to his family especially his grandchildren. 


SURVIVORS: Armando will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jose Armando and his children are Vanessa, Gustavo, Jose Armando II and Anthony, Yolanda Ramirez and her daughter Nancy, Minerva Romero and husband Jose Lopez and their children Ramon and Amanda, Darlene Romero and her children Darlene, Mario, Manuel, Samuel, Nelson and Esperanza, Nadine Romero and her son Gavin and Cristina Romero and husband Johnathan H. Cofre and their children Anthony, Rosalina, Alisha, Jonathan and Veronica who personally cared for him until the day of passing; a multitude of great grandchildren the last one as of now being Noah Mason 2 years old who also personally hands on took care of his papa; sister, Martha Lebron. The family would also like to thank Armando’s caregivers, Juanita, Michele, and Millie. He was predeceased by siblings, Richard Romero, Jean Troche and Eugene Romero Jr.


SERVICES: Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
