Angelo Diaz, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away in his home surrounded by his beloved family on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Eusevia Diaz. Angelo was the loving husband of Mercedes (Torres) Diaz with whom he shared 15 years of marriage. He was a self-employed contactor who took pride in roofing and painting. Angelo was a man of faith who spent many years visiting numerous countries serving those through missionary work with his wife, Mercedes. Angelo loved to cook for his family and friends, to sing, tell jokes and enjoyed a good boxing match. He will be remembered for his sense of style and his infectious love for those near and dear to him.
Survivors: Angelo will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jennifer Diaz, Tirsa Smith, Tamelin Diaz and Angela Sames and husband Marc; 12 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grand Children and his fur children and beloved pets, Neo, Bones and Jay-Jay. Angelo is preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Reinalda Narvaez.
Services: A graveside service will take place at 1:00P.M. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Nisky Hill Cemetery of Bethlehem. Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem has been entrusted with arrangements.
