Alice Jackson McCord

Alice Jackson McCord, 88, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 12, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the loving wife of the late James McCord. Born in Edison, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Armetta (Owens) Knighton. Alice graduated from Edison High School and went on to attend Nursing School in Jacksonville, FL. Alice enjoyed sewing, reading, singing, and traveling. 

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Emma Jean, Mary Ellen and Carolyn; grandchildren Shanece, LaMonica, Shannon, Nicole, Darius and Tawanna; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons J.P. Harpe, Jr., Eddie D. Harpe and Alfonzo Harpe, siblings Jimmy Knighton, Roosevelt, Rosemary, Charles, Isiah and Tommy.
