Alice Koehler Brady

Alice Koehler Brady, 87, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 while in the care of Moravian Village. She was the loving wife of the late James O. Brady who passed away November 21, 2004 and companion of Richard Evans of Springtown. Born in Butztown, she was the daughter of the late Carroll L. and Sarah E.J. (Knauss) Koehler. Alice was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1951. She worked for the Moravian Book Shop for over 25 years, Lost River Caverns for 10 years and also the Bethlehem Steel Corp. She was a member of Moutainview Moravian Church, Hellertown, where she was active with the sugar cake sales, youth fellowship and the funeral luncheon teams. Alice was a member of several bridge clubs for over 65 years. Her pride and joy was taking care of her garden and vegetable gardens.

 
Survivors: In addition to her companion Richard, she will be lovingly remembered by her son Timothy J. Brady and his wife Karen of Bethlehem Township; daughter Anne B. Gustafson and her husband Daniel of Trappe, MD; grandchildren Brady Gustafson and his wife Bri, Shawn Gustafson, Jessica George and her husband Ryan and loving great grandchildren Kaylyn and Owen. She was preceded in death by her brothers George, Gerald "Jake", and Charles "Chuck".  
Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Alice’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
