Yvonne Darnel Hinnant Obituary Yvonne Darnel Hinnant Sunrise: June 15, 1964 Sunset: June 25, 2024 Yvonne Darnel Hinnant, affectionately nicknamed "Bonnie," was raised in Far Rockaway, New York, where, as a girl, she loved to ride her bicycle, play kickball, and pretend to lead music groups with friends. She attended Queens County public schools, including Far Rockaway High School, and completed courses in Business Administration from New York Technical College. Yvonne spent more than a decade of her career working alongside beloved relatives at Peninsula Hospital, and later served in various client support roles at RCN Corporation, Hooper Holmes, W. W. Norton & Company, and Airbnb. Her most cherished role was being a stay-at-home mother to her three youngest children. In 1998, Yvonne gave her life to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and never let go. Her faith remained her foundation as she found solace in reading the Bible and attending virtual church services. Yvonne was a dedicated wife to her husband, Cleveland Hinnant, and found pleasure in the simple joys of life, including spending time with her children, listening to gospel music, and watching romantic comedy and action films. Her children fondly recall her bright, beautiful smile and delighted laughter when her humor was tickled. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Wade, Jr.; brother, Charles Wade; and son, Deval Oliver Robinson. Yvonnes memory and legacy is carried on by her children, Kennesha (Eugene) VanBurch, Trey Hinnant, Deja Hinnant, and Jarin Hinnant; grandchildren, Micah and Caius VanBurch; devoted mother, Ethel Mae Cheeseboro; big sister, Carolyn Wade; and caring brothers David (Tina) Wade and Bruce (Michelle) Wade. She will be forever kept alive in the hearts of a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including her dearest cousin, Regina Boykin, and faithful friend, LaShawn "Cookie" Daniels. We will love you forever.
