William J. Watson, age 77, died on Friday, May 16, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pamela (nee Johnston), a daughter Jennifer Sheehan, her husband Daniel Patrick, and two granddaughters, Norah and Clare. A son, William John (B.J.), predeceased him. He was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Society of the First Infantry Division, the United States Field Artillery Association, and the American Legion. He served for many years on the Board of Directors of the West Point Society of Philadelphia.

Services: A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015. A Requiem Mass in the Tridentine Rite of the Roman Catholic Church will follow at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 417 Carlton Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will conclude services on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 9:30 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18930. A reception will follow the burial at The Grey Stone, 552 Washington Crossing Rd, Newtown, PA 18940. William's services have been entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, Fountain Hill.
