William Rodriguez, 83, of Bethlehem died Tuesday, November 3, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family at St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus. He was the husband of the late Lucila (Jimenez) Rodriguez. Born in Morovis, Puerto Rico, William was the son of the late Gregorio and Josephina (Santiago) Rodriguez. After graduation from high school, William moved to New York. He began a career as a fire safety director for the New York City Fire Department, a position he held for many years until his retirement. William also managed various commercial buildings in Manhattan. He was very handy and could fix anything. He was a faithful New York Yankees fan. He loved his family and treasured the memories he made with his granddaughters. He was the best Grandpa ever! His beloved dog Matthew was waiting for him as he crossed the rainbow bridge into Heaven.

Survivors: Daughter, Jemayra Rodriguez; granddaughters, Sabrina, Isabella and Angela.
