Vincent L
Foti, Jr.
Mar 18, 1943 — Mar 17, 2025
Vincent L. Foti, Jr., known affectionately to his friends and family as Vinny, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, just one day shy of his 82nd birthday, in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey on March 18, 1943, to the late Vincent L. Foti, Sr. and Dorothy (Brown) Foti, Vinny led a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and engagement with his community.
Vinny honorably served in the US Navy from 1960 to 1962, a period of his life that instilled in him a deep sense of patriotism and camaraderie. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career as a salesman in electrical supplies, where his charm and reliability made him a favorite among clients and colleagues alike. Vinny retired from his professional life with the respect and friendship of many in his industry.
Vinny's commitment to service extended well into his personal life. He was the Past President of the Condo Association of Village of Highfield, where he served for 15 years, demonstrating his leadership skills and his passion for making his community a better place. His involvement with various organizations, such as the Coplay Manorcore, the American Legion Honor Guard, and the Fierless Fire Co., reflected his unwavering dedication to civic duty.
A man of many interests, Vinny participated in golf, softball, and bowling leagues, sharing his competitive spirit and love for sports. His teammates and opponents alike admired him for his fair play and sportsmanship. These activities brought joy to Vinny's life and allowed him to forge lasting friendships.
Vinny's personal life was filled with love and joy. He was the beloved significant other of Barbara Lanave, with whom he shared many cherished moments. He is survived by his two devoted sons, Vincent Foti, III of Stewartsville, NJ, and William (Jennifer) Foti of Ewing, NJ. His legacy continues through his adored granddaughters, Bridget Foti and Molly Foti, who brought immense happiness and pride to his life. Both granddaughters are Irish Dancers, and he was their biggest fan, often traveling to see them perform.
Vinny also leaves behind his caring siblings, Vicky (Michael) LaRue of California and Bobby Foti of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Foti, but his memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
