Victoria Ann
Leccia
May 22, 1939 — Oct 9, 2026
Victoria Ann Leccia, 87, born in Latrobe Pennsylvania, passed away on October 9th. She was born on May 22, 1939, the daughter of the late Michael and Amelia Hanna (Khory).
Vicky dedicated her professional life to nursing. She worked as a registered nurse and went on to serve as an Operating Room Nurse Manager, a role she held with great pride. She loved being a nurse, and her years healing the sick and injured are a reflection of the person she was.
Outside of work, Vicky had an active social life and was an avid card player. Vicky loved to learn new things, and later in life, she played rummikub and fast track. It was well known that if Vicky was in your game group, you were going to be there a long time. The fellowship was her primary goal, and she was not a woman to be rushed. Pleasures for Vicky included a day at the mall with a fancy coffee and shopping for everyone, then coming home to catch up on the latest shows. Vicky was known for making sure her kids and grandkids all had haircuts and new shoes.
Vicky loved taking time to enjoy the little things. Family was the center of Vicky's life. Her devotion to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was evident to all who knew her. She loved family vacations and being able to host large parties and spoil her grandchildren during the holidays.
Vicky woke up every day determined to help in whatever way she could, whether that was supporting her family, mentoring new nurses, having the best prepared operating rooms, or in helping her friends. Vicky was someone you could depend on; persistent and resilient and not a person to give up on or in to any challenges. She was always on hand to give advice.
Even in Vicky's most challenging days, she never stopped trying to help. She will be remembered for her dedication to healing and helping others, the devotion that she had for her family, and the loyalty to those she loved.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Peter Thomas Leccia, and her siblings Adele Moon, Helen "Selma" Wineman, and Donald " Chad" Hanna.
Victoria is survived by her children Vicky (Danny), Tracy (Michael), and Peter (Stacy); her grandchildren Chad (Noelle), Wyatt (Cecelia), Zak, Brandon (Becky), Amelia (Dereck), Hannah, Harrison and Harper; and her great grandchildren Shay and Isabella. She had many cousins, nieces, nephews and additional family members she loved and cherished.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
