Terrence J. McNamara, 86, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026. He was born on July 14, 1940, in Bethlehem, PA, the son of the late Walter McNamara and Margaret Kalas.

Terrence was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1958, and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. He went on to build a long career with the New York City Transit Authority, working as a bus driver and later as a dispatcher.

Terrence cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, and he took great joy in attending their sporting events. He was an avid sports fan through and through, following Notre Dame College football and cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the quiet devotion he brought to everything he did.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Margaret McNamara, and his beloved wife of 56 years, Joanne (DeStasio) McNamara.

Terrence is survived by his daughter, Debra Miceli, and his son-in-law, Jack Miceli; his son, Brian McNamara, and his wife, Teresa McNamara; and his three grandchildren, Christopher Miceli, Kyle Miceli, and Jordan McNamara.

Terrence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
