Sharon S. Ortiz, 62, of Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. She was the beloved wife of Thomas E. Ortiz with whom she celebrated 43 years of marriage on May 26, 2025. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia M. (Washitzko) Smolick. She was a 1981 graduate of Liberty High School. Sharon was an office manager for over 20 years for Ameriprise Financial, Allentown. She was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. Sharon enjoyed camping, attending NASCAR races and riding with her husband on his Harley. She also liked country music, long walks with her dogs and working out at the gym. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes on her family.

Survivors: Husband; daughters, Tara L. Ortiz of Bethlehem, Trisha M. Ortiz and her partner Sergio E. Torres of Elizabethtown; brothers, John J. Smolick and his wife LeeAnn of Kunkletown, Thomas P. Smolick and his wife Sheila of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Delyla M. Billiard, Aurora M. Torres, Cambria R. Torres, Sergio E. T. Torres; nieces; beloved chihuahuas, Harley and Blue. She was greeted in Heaven by her beloved Dobermans, Roxy and Tori.

Service: Memorial Service 11:00AM Friday, January 16, 2026 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11:00AM Friday, January 16, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment to follow the service at Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall, PA.
