Sandra J. Long (Drahos), age 87, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Born on August 26, 1938, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she came into the world as the daughter of the late Charles Drahos and the late Seena Drahos (Snyder), and she carried the warmth of that family with her throughout her long and generous life.

Sandra spent many years working in food services and volunteer work. She gave her time and energy freely to Helping Hands at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Bethlehem and the food banks in Bethlehem and Bath, showing up with the kind of quiet, steadfast dedication that makes communities stronger and kinder. To those she served alongside and those she served directly, she was a familiar and beloved presence.

At home, Sandra's world revolved around her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly. Her loyal dog Abby was a constant companion, a source of comfort and everyday happiness. And when the seasons turned, Sandra looked forward to her trips to New Hampshire with her friends, those cherished journeys that filled her with laughter and good memories she held close for years afterward.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Drahos.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband, Peter Long; her children, Michael Long and his wife Ellen (Moynihan), Matthew Long, and Marcey Kroll and her husband Jeff; and her grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Corey, Joseph, Daniel, Jacob, and Edge.

Services : Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Sandra's arrangements have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be made at cantelmifuneralhome.com.
