Richard Uhler Obituary Richard Uhler, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on March 2, 1941, in Allentown. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and spent the majority of his professional life in the construction industry and later for the Bethlehem Recycling Center. Richard, alongside his beloved wife Sally, also owned and operated the 7-Eleven on Linden Street in Bethlehem from 1984 to 1994. Married for over 60 years, Richard and Sally's partnership was a beautiful example of love and mutual respect. Their family was Richard's pride and joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love in his daughter, Jean Politi, and her husband, Mike, as well as his cherished grandson, Evan Politi. His memory will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Mary Conway, his best friends, Bobby Butillo, and Richard and Carol, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Renee (Green) Uhler, and his brother, Roger Uhler. Richard's love for the great outdoors was a defining aspect of his life. He was happiest when he was fishing or hunting, especially at his cabin on Lake Minisink. He was a lifetime member of the F3 Fishing Club. His passion for these pursuits was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with nature and find peace. Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
