Richard Smith Obituary Richard Elmer Smith, known affectionately as Dick, passed peacefully on June 24, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on March 21, 1936, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Elmer W. and Edna M. (Miller) Smith. He was the beloved husband of Annette (Stoneback) Smith with whom he shared over 66 years of loving marriage. Dick worked in the sales department at Bethlehem Steel for over 39 years until he retired. He was a faithful member of Grace Church, Bethlehem. An avid golfer, Dick prided himself on an impressive tally of four hole-in-ones and a rare double eagle. Dicks favorite spot was Myrtle Beach, where he looked forward to traveling to every year. Survivors: Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Annette; sons, Douglas Richard Smith and Daniel Robert Smith; grandchildren, Kyle (Shania) and Joshua Smith; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Violet Smith; and brother, Donald Smith. Services: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Grace Church, 4301 Hecktown Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020.
