Richard Cooperman, 85, formerly of Bethlehem, PA and Ocala, FL, passed away on October 4, 2025. Born on September 7, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Simon and Pauline (Gerst) Cooperman.

Richard was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara Jean (Litvin), his second wife, Nancy (Breeden), and his father-in-law, Sherman Litvin.

Rich owned and operated the Drive Inn Fruit Fair, also known as Sherman's in Easton, PA, for 18 years, alongside his father-in-law, Sherman Litvin. After moving to Florida, he was an active member of Temple B'nai Darom in Ocala, where he served as secretary. He was the lead singer of The New Pretenders, performing always for charitable causes. He enjoyed gardening, line dancing, and staying active in the local computer club. Richard will be remembered for his generosity, humor, and love of music and family.

Survivors : He is survived by his daughters, Janis Loupos and her husband Troy of Bonita Springs, FL, Ellen Williams and her husband James of Chesterfield, VA, and Pamela Szvetecz of Bethlehem; grandchildren Arielle, Zachary, Rachel, Lauren, David, Brooke, Maxwell, and Sophia; great-grandchildren Mason, Cooper, Hadley, and Huxley; sister Jewel Baringoldz of Allentown; and brother-in-law Herbert Litvin and his late wife Sharon Litvin. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Elaine Weiner.
