Obituary

Reinhold Gerber, 92, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026.

Born in West Germany, Reinhold's life was shaped by resilience from an early age. In the 1950s, following the hardships of World War II, he immigrated to the United States with his beloved mother, Emilie Gerber, in search of opportunity and a brighter future. Embracing his new home with pride and determination, Reinhold became a naturalized United States citizen in 1962, a milestone that reflected both his gratitude and commitment to his adopted country.

Reinhold built a successful career as a Design Engineer with Dixie Cup in Easton, where he worked for many years. Known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset, he took great pride in his profession and the contributions he made throughout his career.

Above all else, Reinhold will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and the example he set through a life lived with integrity. His journey from post-war Germany to building a meaningful life in America stands as a powerful testament to perseverance and hope.

Reinhold's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Reinhold will be laid to rest alongside his Mother at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton, PA. Reinhold's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
