Born on February 13, 1981, in Manhattan, New York, to Anthony Webster and the late Gloria Denise Parham, Rayvaughn was a man of great strength, charisma, and unwavering love for his family, friends, and community. Our hearts are deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Rayvaughn.
Rayvaughn's early life in New York was filled with the bustling energy of the city, and he carried that vibrancy throughout his life. He graduated from Rice High School in Manhattan, NY, where he was known for his leadership and spirited nature. After high school, he dedicated himself to serving his country and joined the United States Coast Guard, a period of his life that instilled in him a profound sense of duty and pride.
Following his service, Rayvaughn embarked on a career in transportation, working at various companies, and even building his own, with his last employer being Theatrical Teamsters Local 817. He was respected by his colleagues for his reliability, positivity, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Rayvaughn's personal life was anchored by his beloved wife of 10 years, Kathleen Marie (Kirchner) Webster. Their partnership was a testament to true love, dedication, and friendship. Together, they built a beautiful life full of love and created three wonderful children, Braeden, Harley, and Maverick Webster, who reside at home, enveloped by their father's love and guidance.
Rayvaughn treasured the time he spent with his nana, Edna Rice, and his late papa, Colel Rice Jr. Growing up, he also shared a special bond with his late great-aunt, Otelia F. Parham, through whom he developed a strong Christian faith. Rayvaughn had a deep love for family, often traveling to various states, including New York, Virginia, and New Jersey, to attend family gatherings and spend time with loved ones.
Rayvaughn's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. He loved to celebrate life, experiencing all it had to offer, and was the life of any party. Rayvaughn never backed down from a challenge and welcomed any new endeavor that came his way. He found solace in the tranquility of camping and the freedom of motorcycle riding, being a proud member of the New York Chapter of Street Knights Motorcycle Club. Music was a constant in his life, often leading to impromptu dance sessions that would light up any room. Whether it was having everyone together for a barbecue or simply sharing stories around a fire, these moments were the essence of joy for him.
Above all else, Rayvaughn cherished family time with his wife and children, and he truly valued his role as a father. Whether it be family walks around the neighborhood, attending various activities, or tossing the children around in the living room, he was always present, supportive and proud.
