She was the heart and soul of her family, sharing a beautiful and enduring marriage of over 38 years with her beloved husband, Jim Mautz. Randis legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted children, Elizabeth Mautz and her adored granddog Turtle, of Bangor, PA and James Iglesias-Mautz, along with his wife Anna of Alexandria, VA. She was the treasured sister of Radune Mautz of Pittsburgh, PA and Robin Bestel of Las Vegas, NV and held a special place in the hearts of her abundant nieces and nephews who affectionately called her Aunt Randeer and camp counselor Randi. An accomplished painter, she captured the beauty of the world both on canvas and through her vibrant personality. Her adventurous spirit found joy in skiing down snowy slopes, kayaking through serene waters, and boating on Lake Wallenpaupack. Traveling was another of Randis passions, as she eagerly explored new horizons, from The Thousand Islands to Lake Como, Italy, always with a sense of fun and curiosity guiding her steps. Those who knew Randi would describe her as the epitome of friendliness and adventure. Her radiant smile could light up a room, and her warmth made her a friend to all. Randi brought fresh ideas to help accomplish lofty goals while pushing others to be the best versions of themselves, guiding with the philosophy of "if you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance".
