Pauline Albert Obituary Pauline I. (Cowling) Albert, a beacon of love and warmth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 14, 2024, at the age of 90. Born in Bethlehem on May 3, 1934, to the late James and Ruth (Hartzell) Cowling, Pauline's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her kindness, and her friendly spirit that touched everyone she met.
Affectionately known as 'Mom-Mom' and 'Tootsie' to those closest to her, Pauline's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family bonds. Her beloved husband, Zoltan M. 'Boom Boom' Albert, predeceased her, leaving behind a legacy of shared joy and cherished memories. The loss of her daughter, Patricia Horwath, earlier this year weighed heavily on her heart, but Pauline and her family found comfort in the loving care her son-in-law Barry provided to Pat until her last moments.
Pauline's life was enriched by the love and laughter of her children: loving son and caretaker Brian Albert, Linda Muzikar and her husband Jules, James Albert and his wife Donna, Cindy Weeks and her husband David, Brenda Simons and her companion Mike, and Michael Albert and his wife Michelle. She was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who will carry her legacy forward for generations to come.
Beyond her immediate family, Pauline was a central figure within her extended family, and her absence will be deeply felt by all. She was predeceased by her siblings Virginia, Ethel, Marwood, and Donald, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories.
Pauline's dedication to her community was evident through her faithful membership at Trinity UCC Bethlehem. Her service and involvement within the church community were a reflection of her deep faith and commitment to helping others. She was known for her 'Masters in motherhood,' a title she earned through her tireless devotion to her family and the nurturing guidance she provided.
Her interests were a mirror to her vibrant personality. Pauline enjoyed listening to polka music, a pastime that always brought a smile to her face and a tap to her feet. She was a fixture in front of her television for her daily game shows, taking joy in the thrill of the competition and the familiarity of her favorite programs. Pauline was also known as the 'Neighborhood Mom,' always keeping a watchful eye out and welcoming everyone into her home with open arms. The Bethlehem township first responders knew her well, as she was ever appreciative and welcoming of those who dedicated their lives to serving others.
Pauline's life was a journey of love, laughter, and selfless giving. She left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we celebrate the profound impact she made on the world and cherish the memories that will forever keep her close to us.
Paulines family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Country Meadows Bethlehem for their tender love and care they provided to Pauline.
