Patricia Bess, born on January 31, 1952, to the late Clarence Boehm and Doris (Beier) Boehm, in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 12, 2026, in the same beloved community she called home throughout her life. She was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought warmth, steadiness, and kindness to those around her. Patricia lived a life marked by devotion to family, quiet strength, and the simple joys that made each day meaningful.

Patricia was a lifelong member of the Fountain Hill & Bethlehem areas and carried with her a deep appreciation for the place where she was born and where she spent her final days. She was a proud graduate of Liberty High School, and her education helped shape the dependable and hardworking woman she became. Known for her gentle manner and welcoming spirit, Patricia made a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In her working years, Patricia served as a bank teller, a role that reflected her trustworthiness, patience, and attention to detail. She approached her work with care and professionalism, and she was respected by those who worked alongside her. Whether assisting customers or managing daily responsibilities, she brought a calm and reassuring presence to her duties. Her work ethic and integrity were among the many qualities that defined her life.

Patricia also found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed movies and camping, pastimes that gave her opportunities to relax, reflect, and make memories with those she loved. These interests were a source of happiness and comfort, and they reflected her appreciation for both quiet moments and time spent in the company of others. Her life was enriched by these experiences, and she shared her love of them with family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Family was the center of Patricia's world, and she will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Nicholas Girou and his wife Michele of Waukesha, Wisconsin, David Girou and his wife Lana of Macungie, and bonus son, Rico Suarez. She is also survived by her sisters, Lorraine Gallagher and her husband Michael, and Sandra Repash. She was a devoted grandmother to Brianne and her husband Ricky Killey, Brittani and her partner Calvin Mendoza, Nicholas II, Nevaeh, and Chelsea. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Brayden, Larissa, and Rilee, who brought additional light and happiness into her later years. She is also survived by nephew and niece, Michael and Melissa. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husbands: William Giroux, Clyde "Bud" Bess, and Carl Erie.

SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 7 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015, where family and friends may pay their respects from 6 P.M. until the time of the service.
