Obituary

Nancy Ann (Filaseta) Bedics, 72, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her life. Born and raised in Bethlehem, Nancy was a woman of quiet strength, gentle warmth, and a heart that was always open to those she loved.

To know Nancy was to feel cared for in a way that was both simple and profound. She found beauty in life's smallest moments and had a special way of making everyday life feel meaningful. Holidays and family gatherings were where she truly shined. Nancy had a gift for creating moments that felt magical, filling her home with warmth, laughter, and a sense of togetherness that her family will forever cherish. She made each celebration feel special, not because of what was done, but because of the love she poured into it.

Nancy dedicated many years of her life to the United States Postal Service, serving her community with quiet pride. Outside of work, she found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time with those she loved. She enjoyed exploring local events and festivals, strolling through farmers markets, browsing craft fairs, and stopping at yard sales, always finding happiness in the little treasures and experiences along the way. She also loved trying new restaurants, sharing stories, and simply being together, knowing that the moments spent with others were what mattered most.

Her greatest joy, without question, was her family. Her beloved grandchildren, Rory and Rocco, were the center of her world and the light in her eyes. She treasured every moment spent with them, holding those memories close and celebrating each milestone with pride and love. The happiness they brought her was immeasurable, and her love for them was as deep as it was enduring.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Ryan Bedics and his wife, Sara, of Nazareth; her cherished grandchildren, Rory and Rocco Bedics; her sister, Jane Ashner and her husband, Keith, of Coopersburg; and her brother, Bob Filaseta and his wife, Liz. She was reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Denny Bedics, who passed in 2015.

Nancy lived a life defined by love, kindness, and quiet grace. She gave so much of herself to others, asking for little in return, and in doing so, left an imprint on every heart she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her love remains a constant presence, carried forward in the memories she created and the family she held so dear.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Nancy's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
