Michele (Michael) Guerrieri Obituary Michele (Michael) A. Guerrieri, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024, at the age of 79 in his home in Hilton Head Island, SC. Born on October 4, 1944 in Bethlehem, PA, Michael was the cherished son of the late Carmine and Maria (Frisoli) Guerrieri. His life was a testament to the values of hard work and dedication that he learned from his parents. He proudly graduated from Hellertown High School in the Class of 1962, which laid the foundation for his remarkable journey ahead.
After high school, Michael served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for eight years. His time in the service imbued him with a sense of discipline and honor that he carried throughout his life. Following his military service, Michael followed in his father's footsteps and together they built a successful auto body business, Hellertown Auto Body. His entrepreneurial spirit soon led him to venture out on his own as a self-employed general contractor, where he applied his skills and work ethic to build a successful career.
One of Michael's greatest passions was offshore powerboat racing. His competitive spirit and love for the water took him to the Bahamas, Florida Keys, Chesapeake Bay, and Hudson River. In 1998, his skill and determination culminated in winning the Super Boat World Championship in Key West Florida, a crowning achievement that brought him immense pride and joy.
Michael's personal life was as full of love and joy as his professional life was of accomplishment. He was a devoted husband to Dana L. (Erney) Guerrieri, whom he married on May 28, 2016. Together, they shared a bond that was both tender and resilient. He was a loving father to his daughter Crystal Anne Guerrieri, son Dano Guerrieri and his wife Lisa, and granddaughters Madison and Alexis. He was predeceased by his son, Michael A. Guerrieri Jr., who passed away in 1987. He is also survived by siblings, Diane Buckhout of Houston Texas, Lucy Love and her husband Frank of Hellertown. He was preceded in death by his sister Janine Skraban and brother-in-law Roger Buckhout. He will forever be remembered as a supportive and caring brother.
As a man of faith, Michael was a long-standing member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem, PA and Holy Family Catholic Church, Hilton Head, SC. His spiritual life provided him with comfort and guidance.
