Obituary

Mary Louise Moyer, 78, passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories shared with those who knew and loved her.

Mary was born on December 25, 1947, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to the late Grace (Souders) Steiner and Willibald P. Steiner. She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1965 and went on to work in medical records.

Mary was married for 38 years to her beloved husband, Albert W. Moyer Jr. She is survived by her sons, Clifford Babin and Brian Babin; her stepson, Christopher Moyer and his wife, Missy; her brother, Paul Steiner and his wife, Margo, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, John Steiner.

Mary was an avid reader with a special love for the works of Stephen King and enjoyed collecting his books. She treasured the companionship of her dogs and had a special fondness for lighthouses. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, spending time in the mountains, and being near the ocean. She eventually made her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she could enjoy the coastal surroundings she loved.

Mary will be remembered for the life she lived, the things that brought her joy, and the many memories and stories shared by those who knew her.

May she rest in peace.

Mary will be laid to rest at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery, 2010 W. Chew St., Allentown, PA 18104. Family and friends are invited to join together as we honor Mary's life and celebrate the memories she leaves behind.
