Mary Gass, a beloved matriarch and cherished soul, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 101, in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania. Born on August 1, 1923, in the quaint village of Richnava, Czechoslovakia, Mary's life was a testament to her enduring strength and loving heart.

Mary's journey to the United States was marked by resilience and hope, a narrative that would define her life's story. She settled in Pennsylvania, where she met and married the love of her life, Harold G. Gass, Sr. Together, they built a life filled with love, until his passing in 1977. Mary's dedication to her family was unwavering, as she gracefully took on the role of both mother and father, ensuring her children were raised with the same strength and compassion that she embodied.

Mary is survived by a lineage of love that includes her sons, Harold G. Gass Jr. and his wife Betty of Quakertown, Stephen Gass and his wife Mary of Bethel, her daughter, Pauline Keefer of Catasauqua; and the cherished memories of her late daughter, Anna Marie Dreher. She was the proud grandmother to seven, great-grandmother to fifteen, and great-great-grandmother to six, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

A lifelong member of St. Ursula's Church, Mary's faith was a cornerstone of her existence. Her commitment to her spiritual community was evident in her unwavering support and participation in church activities. She found solace and strength in her faith, which she passed on as a legacy to her family.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, March 10, 2025, at St. Ursula's Church- 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015. Family and friends will receive relatives from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. on Monday March 10, 2025 at Cantelmi Funeral Home- 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015.
