Martin Leposa Obituary Martin 'Marty' Leposa, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 28, 2024. Born on November 4, 1957, to the late Geza and Madeline (O'Donnell) Leposa,
Marty was a proud graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1975, where he showcased his musical talents as a bagpiper in the Grenadier band. Marty went on to further his education at Penn State University.
After a fulfilling career with AC Moore, Marty found a second calling at St. Luke's University Health Network in the distribution center, where he continued to make a positive impact on those around him until his retirement.
Marty's life was rich with love and companionship, most notably shared with his beloved wife, Andrea (Starry) Leposa. Their 27 years of loving marriage were filled with joy, mutual support, and an unwavering bond that stood as a testament to their devotion to one another. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Trevor and Reagan Leposa, who Marty adored and took immense pride in.
He was a loving brother to Michele Raguso and Melissa Cherry, and her husband Kenneth. Marty also held a special place in his heart for his late sister, Gisele Leposa. His family, extended to include many loving friends who became as close as family, will miss his warm presence and the light he brought into their lives.
Marty's interests and hobbies reflected his zest for life and his love for his heritage. He was an active member of the North End Wanderers Athletic Association and a devout member of Saint Joseph Church in Coopersburg. A true sports enthusiast, Marty was an avid fan of Penn State and Lehigh University, often found cheering on his favorite teams with spirited passion.
The beach held a special place in Marty's heart, as did his Irish heritage, which he celebrated with pride. His love for Indy car racing was matched only by the joy he took in the simple pleasure of being with friends and family.
He will be remembered as a kind-hearted and friendly man who lived his life with love and generosity. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
