Obituary

Lucy Mulzet died Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Holy Family Manor just two weeks shy of her 100th birthday. Lucy was the twelfth of thirteen children, born in Bethlehem to the late Rocco and Pauline (Scanzello) Fresoli and grew up on Bethlehem's South Side. She was married to William Mulzet, whom she met at age fourteen at Broughal School. Bill died in 2007, at which point they were married for 60 years. Lucy worked as a bookkeeper for Easton Roofing Company for 20 years, then was hired by pediatrician Dr. Lawrence Galtman at the age of 65, where she thrived at her work as the office receptionist for almost 20 years, retiring at 84. Lucy loved going to the casinos and hitting the thrift shops, where she always found beautiful bargains. She was a devoted grammy to Amy and Elyse and was a huge help when they were young children.

Survivors: Surviving Lucy are daughter Lucille Mulzet and partner Gary Ritter, daughter Michele Klova and her husband Bob and their daughters Amy Klova and Elyse Klova, one great grandson, Luca.
