Steinruck for 49 years and 5 months before his death in 1996. Born in Main Township, Columbia County, PA, Laura was the daughter of the late James L. and Iva M. (George) Boyer. After graduation from Bloomsburg High School in 1944, Laura had many different career opportunities. After returning to Pennsylvania in 2006, Laura became a member of First Baptist Church, Bethlehem. In her early years she taught Sunday School. She was also a former volunteer at the Phoebe Home and she delivered for Meals on Wheels. Laura loved parties and entertaining. She was a great dancer and enjoyed Polka Music at Music Fest. She enjoyed lunch with family and friends and playing pinochle with her husband and friends. In her golden years, she enjoyed traveling to Florida and Cape Cod.
