Obituary

Larry Williams, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 9, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 14, 1939, in Bethlehem, Larry's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his entrepreneurial spirit.

Larry was the beloved son of the late Wilbur and Mildred Williams. He was a graduate of Liberty High School. After graduation, Larry honorably served in the United States Army, where he developed a strong sense of duty and commitment that would remain with him throughout his life.

Upon returning from the Army, Larry began working in the print shop at the Bethlehem Steel. His time there would lay the foundation for his future endeavors. When Bethlehem Steel closed its doors, Larry's resilience and entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own business, L.E. Williams Printing. His passion for the craft turned the print shop into a successful enterprise, one that his son proudly owns and operates to this day.

Larry's life was rich with interests and community involvement. He was a long-standing member of the East Bath Rod and Gun Club and found joy in driving, especially on trips to the family cabin. Larry also shared memorable moments with his daughter as they delivered meals for DoorDash and Grubhub.

Known for his sense of humor, Larry loved to share laughter with everyone around him. He cherished his relationships deeply, whether they were with family, friends, or the customers he served through his business. Larry's presence was a source of stability and joy for those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter with his children, Mike Williams and his wife Shannon, and their son Garrett; Jodi Williams and her wife Jennifer, and their children Alexa and Morgan Snyder. Larry's brothers, Ronald Williams and his wife Marsha, and Donald Williams, will also hold dear the memories of their brother's kind heart and spirited conversations. Larry was predeceased by his brother Robert Williams and sister-in-law Marianne Williams.
