Born on December 29, 1983 in Guyana, he was a beacon of kindness and dedication throughout his life. Kevon's final moments were spent in Bethlehem, surrounded by his loving family, who supported and cherished him until his last breath. He was the beloved son of Gary and Jennifer Cooper and Patricia and Evans DeMeza, a brother held in high esteem by Brian and his wife Shelly-Ann, Dillon and his wife Michelle, Cordell and his wife Yannell, Lenox and his wife Robin, Angel, Jason, and Jasmine. Kevon's presence in their lives was a source of constant joy and comfort, and his departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by his many loving nieces and nephews. Kevon's formative years were spent at Lincoln High School in Brooklyn NY, where he graduated with a sense of accomplishment and a readiness to take on the world. He carried the values of hard work and perseverance into his professional life, dedicating many years to the construction industry. Outside of work Kevon was a man of diverse interests, all of which were approached with his characteristic enthusiasm and meticulous attention. His hands were skilled at fixing and rebuilding things, a talent that brought life back to the old, and created beauty from the neglected. He was also an avid cook, one who found joy in the simple act of preparing meals and sharing them with others. Cleaning was not a chore for Kevon but an expression of his orderly and thoughtful nature. Sports held a special place in Kevon's heart, with basketball and football being his favorites. Whether playing, watching, or discussing the latest game, he did so with passion and a deep appreciation for the athleticism and strategy involved. But above all, Kevon loved his family. They were the cornerstone of his life, the recipients of his boundless affection, and the source of his deepest pride.
