Obituary

Kelsey Anne Rodgers, a radiant soul, passed away far too soon at the age of 21 on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Born on Father's Day, June 15, 2003, in Sellersville, she was the beloved daughter of Joseph Patrick and Adrienne Lynn (Zegarski) Rodgers and the cherished sister of Joe and Chris Rodgers and half sister of Kristie and Jessica.

Kelsey had a natural gift for creativity and an eye for beauty in all things. A graduate of Freedom High School, she was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and deep compassion for others. She had an artistic spirit, finding joy in the little details—whether painting on canvas, thoughtfully arranging flowers, or decorating her space to reflect her vibrant personality. She had an effortless ability to make the world around her more beautiful.

At the time of her passing, Kelsey was pursuing her education at Northampton Community College with hopes of becoming a psychologist. Her greatest passion was helping others, and she dreamed of a career where she could support and uplift those in need. She had a natural ability to listen, comfort, and understand people, always offering kindness and encouragement to those around her. Kelsey loved being with her friends, who made her feel comfortable and supported, and she cherished the time spent with them.

In addition to her loving parents and brothers, Kelsey leaves behind her grandmother, Mary Zegarski, and a large, devoted extended family who will miss her dearly: her aunts and uncles, Danielle Costello (Bob), John Zegarski (Lauren), Kathleen Malloy (James), Lorraine Taylor (Jess), John Rodgers, Gerry Friedman,Genevieve Rodgers, Ginny Ward (John) along with her cousins John, Geanie, Theresa, Harry, Jerrek, Katrina, James, Brian, Greg, Robert, Michael and Christine.

Her pets, Compton, Dexter, Nugget, Omar, Toebey, and her adored cat Casper—were her constant companions, and she loved them with all her heart.

Kelsey's departure leaves an immeasurable void, but her spirit will continue to live on in the art she created, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched. Though her time here was far too short, the beauty she brought into the world will never fade.

She will be deeply missed, always loved, and forever remembered.
