June M.
Krause
Jun 2, 1946 — May 12, 2025
June M. Krause, 78, of Bethlehem Township, peacefully passed away on May 12, 2025, in the comfort of her home. Born on June 2, 1946, in Bethlehem, June's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family.
June's journey began as the cherished daughter of Edna (Albert) Scott and the late Michael Scott. Her Bethlehem roots ran deep, graduating from Bethlehem Catholic High School in the Class of 1964. It was here that she cultivated the values of hard work and dedication that would define her life.
In August of 1965, June married her soulmate, Darrie L. "Fluff" Krause, in a union that was to celebrate its 60th anniversary later this year. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering partnership. June embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and enthusiasm, creating a warm and loving home for her husband and sons, Dean Krause of Bethlehem and Dion Krause with his wife Edie of Lucas, Texas.
June's family was the centerpiece of her life, and she took immense pride in her role as a mother. Her love extended to her siblings, Michael, Dennis, Jimmy and his wife Nancy, and sister Mary Perez, all of Bethlehem. She was the adored nana to her grandchildren, Adrienne, Jillian, Kiersten, Kamerynn, Caden, Alden, and Rowan, and she held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds. June's presence at family gatherings, especially the sporting events and celebrations of her children and extended family, was a constant. Her support was unwavering, her enthusiasm infectious, and her pride in her family's achievements was evident to all who knew her.
June's interests reflected her love for life and family. She found joy in shopping, crafting beautiful ceramics, and relishing the time spent on family vacations at the shore in Wildwood Crest. Her dedication to her family was mirrored in her commitment to her community. She was a former active volunteer for her son's little league with the Freemansburg Bethlehem Township Athletic Association, where her efforts in fundraising were legendary, once helping to make 7,000 hoagies in a single weekend.
To describe June as loving and selfless only begins to capture the essence of her character. Her actions spoke volumes, and the lives she touched are her enduring legacy. June's spirit of giving and her unwavering support of those she loved will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her devoted husband, Fluff; her loving sons, Dean and Dion with his wife Edie; her dear mother, Edna; her siblings and their spouses; her treasured grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
