Obituary

Joseph F. Talbot Obituary Joseph F. Talbot, affectionately known as Joe to his friends and family, passed away on the last day of 2024, December 31st, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 20, 1953, in Fountain Hill, Joe's life was a testament to the joy of simplicity, the warmth of family, and the love of nature. Joe was a proud graduate of Liberty High School and dedicated many years to the sanitation industry. But his greatest joy in life was fishinga passion that took him on countless adventures. A man of the outdoors, Joe was a fishing legend in his own right. He spent endless hours by the water, rod in hand, patiently waiting for the thrill of the next catch. His fishing trips werent just about the fish; they were about the journey. Whether it was early mornings on the river, weekend getaways to his favorite fishing spots, or annual trips with friends, Joe embraced every moment with enthusiasm. Joes love for fishing was infectious. He eagerly shared his knowledge with his nieces and nephews, passing down his tips and tricks to the next generation. Through these special trips, he ensured his passion would ripple through the family for years to come. Beyond the water, Joe also cherished time spent at the cabin, where he would recount his fishing adventures with family and friends, making memories as vivid as the tales he loved to tell. Joe is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Evelyn (Berger) Talbot, and his sister, Barbara Williams. He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories with his siblings: Mark, Paul, Leo, and Lucy Holland, as well as his many loving nieces and nephews, who will miss their uncle dearly. There will be calling hours for anyone who knew Joe on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 1-3pm at his home at 4002 Mountain View Drive, Danielsville, PA 18038.
