James E. Grube, 82, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away at his daughters home in Bethlehem, on February 2, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on July 7, 1942, he was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School.

James was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Terrisa Grube, Collette Stitt and her husband Thomas, and Rory Grube, as well as ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four bonus great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Mary (Hess) Grube, and his siblings, Carol, Jerry, and Eleanor.

A hardworking and dependable man, James always put his family first. He was a strong provider and took pride in being there for those he loved. His kindness and steady presence left a lasting impact on his family and friends.

James had a passion for the outdoors and spent much of his time fishing, hunting, and enjoying nature. He was an active member of the Fleas Club in Easton, where he found camaraderie with friends. He also enjoyed family gatherings, swimming in the river, and simple moments spent outside.
