Ismael Palacios, 102, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Cuba, Ismael was the son of the late Francisco and Manuela (Peraza) Palacios. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He shared more than 64 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marta I. (Menendez) Palacios, until her passing in 2017.

A kind, hardworking, and humble man, Ismael was known for his quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. Family was at the center of his life, and he treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. Whether sharing stories, celebrating special occasions, or simply enjoying each other's company, Ismael found his greatest happiness in the presence of his family. His gentle nature, steady guidance, and loving example left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Martha Prieto and her husband, Antonio, of Bethlehem Township; his cherished grandchildren, Dennis Prieto and his wife, Shana, and Carla Prieto; his beloved great-grandchildren, Samantha and Cole; and his siblings, Nirmando Palacios and Zoraida Palacios. In addition to his wife, Marta, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018, where relatives and friends are invited to call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
