Holly Pauline Stackhouse (Heffernan), 71, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026. She was born on December 22, 1954, in Warwick, Rhode Island, to the late John Heffernan and the late Marilyn Swikert.

Holly cherished her family above all else. She was a devoted mother who deeply loved her son, Michael Stackhouse. She found great joy in the companionship of their beloved dog, Clyde. Her warmth, kindness, and steadfast presence touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her son Michael; her siblings, Candace Novak and her husband Christopher, Jack Heffernan, Jay Staples and her husband Matthew, David Heffernan and his wife Sherrie, and Billy Heffernan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry her memory forward. She was preceded in death by her parents and is remembered with fondness by her ex-husband, Scott Stackhouse.

Holly dedicated many years to her work as a customer service representative at Astound (formerly RCN), where her friendly demeanor and helpful spirit were appreciated by colleagues and customers alike.

Her life was defined by quiet strength, loyalty to those she loved, and a gentle spirit that will be deeply missed. Family and friends will hold dear the memories of her love and the special place she held in their hearts.

Services : A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home. A calling hour will be held at 10 AM until the start of the service.
