Deily, Sr., with whom she shared over 73 years and a beautiful marriage full of devotion and mutual respect, until his passing on December 5, 2023. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Hedwig (Glase) Ritter. Trudy's life was a testament to the power of warmth and friendliness, which she extended to everyone she met. She was a graduate of Liberty High School. After graduating, she married Richard, and dedicated her life to the cherished role of a homemaker, creating a nurturing home filled with love and care for her family. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as bowling, which she pursued with enthusiasm and a competitive spirit. Those who knew Trudy will fondly remember the delicious meals and treats she prepared, as cooking was not only a hobby but a way of expressing her love for her family and friends.
Trudy's presence was a gift to her family, and her absence will be deeply felt by many. Her life was a beautiful reflection of the values she held dear, and her legacy will live on through the generations.
Trudys legacy is carried on by her loving sons, Richard E. Deily, Jr. and his wife Mary of Northampton, and Thomas Deily and his wife Celeste of Alburtis. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, a doting great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren, and a delighted great-great-grandmother to six great-great-grandchildren.
