Frederick Wirth Obituary Frederick Joseph Wirth, known fondly to all as Fred, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, at the age of 86 in Bethlehem. Born on August 19, 1937, in Easton, Fred was a man of integrity, whose presence was a comfort and joy to everyone who knew him. Fred graduated from Wilson High School in 1955 and attended Churchman's Business School in Easton, where he honed the skills that would serve him throughout his professional life. He dedicated 30 years as a buyer to Crayola, formerly known as Binney and Smith, before retiring in 2003. At work, Fred was known for his steadfast work ethic and the collegial spirit he brought to the team. A devout member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem, Fred's faith was a cornerstone of his life. Fred's passion for weightlifting was more than a hobby; it was a discipline that he pursued with dedication. He was proud to have had many pictures and mentions in 'Tomorrows Man' magazine. His love for the Cleveland Browns was unwavering, and game days were always a spirited occasion in the Wirth household. Family was the center of Fred's world. He leaves behind his beloved wife of many years, Denise A. (Curley) Wirth. Together, they shared a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was the proud father of Daniel Wirth of Danielsville, Patricia Wirth of Kempton, Kathleen Wirth of Nazareth, and James Wirth and his wife, Roxanne, of Nazareth. His step-son, Michael Ebling of Bethlehem, held a special place in his heart. Fred had four sisters, Barbara, Linda, Michelle, and Cheryl. Fred's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Gilbert and his wife Lauren, Justin, KaLynn, Kaden, Kyla, Natasha and Sophia. His great-grandchildren, Jaxen and Kenzlee, brought him immense joy and pride. Each of them will carry forward the lessons and love he imparted. Fred was also a friend to many, including his four-legged companions, Polli, Reggie, Nina, and Lillie. Their loyal presence and unconditional love were a source of great happiness for him.
