Ferdinand R. Melendez, 45, of Bethlehem, PA died Sunday, July 20, 2025 with his loving wife Yvonne M. (Garcia) Melendez by his side at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, PA. Together 20 years, Ferdinand and Yvonne celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on February 6, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Ferdinand Russo and the late Migdalia Melendez. A talented barber, his sons would let no one touch their hair or beard except for Ferdinand. Before becoming ill, he had also worked for FedEx, Allentown, PA for several years. Ferdinand's family was his whole world. He enjoyed going to the shooting range with his sons and spending time with his beloved French Bulldog, Yoda.

Survivors: Wife, Yvonne M. Melendez; sons, Brendan A. Melendez, Maximas C. Melendez; stepsons, Jonathan Malavez, Andrew D. Malavez; stepdaughter, Tabitha M. Malavez; beloved French Bulldog, Yoda, all at home. Ferdinand was looking forward with excitement to the birth of his 1st grandchild a boy, Brenden Anthony Ferdinand Melendez.
