Elizabeth A. (Matizka) Majczan, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87.

A graduate of Liberty High School, Elizabeth worked for both Bethlehem Steel and the Bethlehem Area School District, always bringing kindness and a strong work ethic to everything she did.

She found joy in many things—gardening, arts and crafts, and playing cards with friends—but nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family. Those shared moments, full of laughter and love, created memories that will be cherished forever.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert F. Majczan, and her brother, William Rogers. She is survived by her sons, Mark Majczan and his wife Suzette, and David Majczan and his wife Amy; her grandchildren, Demi, Cami, and Maura; and her great-grandchildren, who will always carry her love in their hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 2 P.M. until time of the service. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
