Elizabeth 'Betty' Fantozzi Obituary Elizabeth 'Betty' (Forte) Fantozzi, 85, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully in her home on July 30, 2024. Born in Allentown on January 16, 1939, to the late Robert R. Forte and Mary Ann (Grillo) Forte, Betty's spirited personality left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure to know her.
Betty was a proud graduate of Liberty High School and Wilma Boyd Career College, where she earned her Travel Agent certification. This education paved the way for her fulfilling career as a travel agent with Mary Fashion Travel Agency in Bath, where she dedicated over 20 years to making travel dreams come true for countless individuals and families.
Her love for travel was surpassed only by her passion for art. Betty was a talented painter, a spiritual soul, and a member of the Allentown Art Museum and the Society of the Arts. She found great joy in exploring the world and capturing its beauty through her artwork, which she shared with all who knew her.
Betty's life was a testament to the power of love, and she was the heart of her family. She is remembered with great affection by her daughter Leeza Fox and her husband Guy, as well as her son Dante Fantozzi and his wife Melinda and their two children. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, who will carry forward her zest for life and her artistic talents. She was predeceased by her brother Robert "Bobby" Forte, Jr.
Betty's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with the love for and from her late husband of 67 years, Umberto 'Al' Fantozzi, and the close-knit family they nurtured together. Her warmth, generosity, and infectious smile made every gathering a memorable one.
In honoring Betty's life, we remember not just the places she traveled or the artwork she created, but the countless moments of kindness, encouragement, and joy she brought into our lives. Her legacy is not just in what she did, but in who she was: a devoted wife and partner in marriage, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a true friend.
